Final Fantasy fans were delighted to hear the news that Deux Zero, a spacious Kobe-based wedding hall that specializes in lavish ceremonies would be offering Final Fantasy XIV-themed wedding ceremonies in collaboration with the game's development team, and now they can apply for one of their own as reservations for the package officially opened today in Japan. The ceremony will allow fans to tie the knot with special costumes, food, weapons, and even a chocobo!
Since the themed ceremony plan's original announcement, further details have come to light. Several wedding ceremony packages will be offered, including full blown ceremony festivities and also the option to simply take Final Fantasy XIV-themed commemorative photos. The ceremony itself will incorporate a massive 4K screen displaying imagery from the world of Final Fantasy, immersive sounds and costumed performance staff, and of course music from the game's soundtrack as you walk down the aisle and celebrate.
The ceremony also offers model weaponry from Final Fantasy XIV to pose with during photos and during the ceremony, as well as cut specially designed Final Fantasy wedding cakes with. You can also enjoy the company of a chocobo on hand.
The menu plan is said to be a fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine, with an aesthetic that would fit right into the game itself--filled with crystal and Moogle motifs, of course.
Those looking to take advantage of the plan can do so by visiting the campaign's website.
