The origins of "mixed juice"
Osaka's Sennariya Coffee, founded in 1948, has just opened its first shop in the Kanto area on August 10th, 2020 at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza.
Sennariya Coffee is known for many things, but most famously for its association with the origin of ミックジュース "mixed juice." Owner of the Sennariya fruit shop, founder Ichiro Tsunekawa had the money-saving idea of putting fruits which were still delicious but just a bit too ripe to be sold to his customers to good use by making juice out of them. His blend of ripe, choice fruits mixed together in just the right proportion was an instant hit when it first went on sale in the Shinsekai area. His success allowed him to switch his business model 12 years later to a coffee shop, and the name changed to Sennariya Coffee, with "mixed juice" as its star menu item.

Of course, they sell mixed juice in their new shop, which you can have on the premises or as a take-out item:

Reikō and other coffees
In addition to Mixed Juice, Sennariya Coffee, as the name implies, also became known for the excellent coffee they served, and a new invention at the time, iced coffee, or 冷コー reikō, a term which soon became a part of the Osaka dialect.
At the Sennariya Coffee in Kawasaki, you'll be able to enjoy it, along with two other coffee types, their Dutch Coffee brewed in cold water for 8 hours to extract a deep flavor, and their delicious siphon brewed coffee (pictured below):
