Japanese Traditional Cat Art Is Mysteriously Cute And Evil
犬と猫とどっちも飼ってると毎日たのしい Every Day is Fun Raising Both a Cat and Dog
Manga artist Hidekichi Matsumoto (@hidekiccan) is known for works like さばげぶっ (Survival Game Club!) and 猫色保健室 (Cat Colored Infirmary). Her latest series 犬と猫とどっちも飼ってると毎日たのしい (Every Day is Fun Raising Both a Cat and Dog) follows her soft and easy-to-love dog and super cool, easily irritable cat. (We previously posted about Matsumoto-san’s manga here.)
In today’s episode, we follow Miss Matsumoto as she compares her pets’ keen hearing abilities.

Although Hidekichi’s dog won’t let her snack in peace, she loves how he’ll always answer when called, even from afar. That’s a dog’s unconditional love for you right?
Cats have great hearing though too. Let’s see how she compares with her dog…

Although her cat’s ears are just as powerful, her tolerance for noise is close to, if not completely zero.
Hidekichi experiences a wonderful moment when her cat comes and sits on her lap.
She’s even able to hold in a sneeze so she can enjoy her cat’s company if only for a little while.
Unfortunately, the ice in her glass shifted and a mere tinkle had her cat padding off, deeply irritated.
Cat certainly are finnicky. But considering the cat’s perspective, who really has to put up with more nonsense? Regardless of her cat’s prickly nature, Hidekichi continues to love the little creature. As do we all right?
Well that’s all for today’s episode of Every Day is Fun Raising Both a Cat and Dog.
