Japanese oddity goods retailer and bookstore Village Vanguard often offers a lot of quirky animal-themed products, but lately they've been dipping their toes into the ocean with octopus tentacles that help you cook and hyper-realistic deep sea creature plushies.

That trend will continue with their new blankets that double as light sleeping bags that make it appear as if you're being swallowed whole by a sea creature.

The blankets are sized 170 x 100 cm and come in five different varieties to be swallowed up by when taking a nap or lounging on your sofa.
