Singaporean Baker’s Kawaii Chiffon Cakes Are Too Cute To Eat
Since coming to Japan, I have always celebrated Valentine’s Day in the Japanese way. I would make cookies or chocolates for friends or my special one, but I never considered buying them.
Probably many people choose to make the sweets themselves if they celebrate Valentine’s Day the Japanese way.
Regardless of how you celebrate it, I wonder how many opt for a whole cake during this day? Probably not that many.
However, what if your favorite characters are on it? Then the situation changes a little, doesn’t it?
If it is a Demon Slayer cake or any sweets that have Tanjiro and Shinobu-chan on them, then I’d buy some to share with my dear ones, but also one just for me.
Priroll Bakery, a pastries company that does custom order desserts, chose to make this special day even more special by bringing some limited-edition Demon Slayer sweets for this year’s Valentine’s.
You can choose either from cakes with your favorite characters or macarons with the Kimetsu no Yaiba characters’ designs on top.
The exclusive cakes on sale for this year are 33 in number, and that probably makes it harder to choose.
Some of the characters used as designs for the sweets are Tanjiro, Inousuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and the Hashira, including my beloved Shinobu-chan.
However, if you cheer for the demon side, then you’ll be happy to know that Muzan Kibutsuji is also part of the characters featured on the cakes.

The designs have different characters for each piece, and the designs feature the Hashiras, divided in set B and set C, and Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu in set A.
The flavors are pistachio, strawberries, chocolate, and orange.
