New merchandise based on the Fire Emblem games was recently announced by series developers, Intelligent Systems, and now fans can have their own miniature replicas of some of the legendary weapons wielded by the characters in the game.
Three products are joining the games’ “Armory collection” merch, with two of them being a three-piece set of miniature weapons. The first product comprises three Holy Weapon replicas from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War: the swords Tyrfing and Mystletainn, and the holy lance, Gáe Bolg. Each miniature is roughly 65 millimeters (2.5 inches) long.
All of the weapons in the next set appeared in 2003’s Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade: the swords Sol Katti and Durandal, and Arnads, the legendary Thunder Axe.
The last item is one that traces its history from the very first installment in the Fire Emblem franchise, 1990’s Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, and it is the legendary Binding Shield. It comes complete with the colored gemstones, and is roughly 48 millimeters (1.8 inches) by 59 millimeters (2.3 inches) in size.
All of the miniature products are priced at 4,400 yen and are currently available for pre-orders within Japan, except for Binding Shield which will be available from August 27, 2021. You can find more information about all of the Armory collection products and a link to the pre-order page on Intelligent Systems’ Japanese website.
