Wagashi, or traditional Japanese sweets, are often just as appealing in aesthetic as they are in taste. One prime example of this is nerikiri, a mochi-like confectionary made of sugar, starch syrup, and rice flour that is often cut and molded into items that reflect the season (such as cherry blossoms) and bursting with color.

Japanese sweets enthusiast and Twitter user 46mamma (@46mamma4649), has found quite another artistic way to prepare nerikiri, however. The creative sweets maker recently turned their talents into turning the Ice/Bug Pokémon Snom into a nerikiri, and the results may just be too adorable to eat!

Snom's round white body is perfect for the confectionery, and 46mamma cleverly used a blue agar jelly to craft the Pokémon's translucent spikes. The treats are so perfectly made, it's hard to believe it's the first time 46mamma has made nerikiri.
Of course, these aren't the only amazing sweets 46mamma has cooked up. In the past, they've made other awesome Pokémon treats, as well as some inspired by Studio Ghibli, and Hunter × Hunter. Here's a few outstanding examples.
