New Stand Tokyo, a variety-goods store from New York located in Roppongi, has collaborated with two other apparel brands; “Allbirds” a brand which focuses on environmental issues and uses carefully selected natural materials, and “Watanabe’s” a Japanese traditional Aizome indigo dyeing brand. In recent years, Aizome has been known for its sustainability, and antibacterial effect in the product made using the traditional technique. Together, they are going to operate a collaborative event called the “Aizome Fair” from October 7th to the 31st, 2021.
Additionally, during this event, there will be limited edition collaborative sneakers “Wool Runner- Watanabe’s Japanese Indigo'' released from “Allbirds” & “Watanabe’s” available for sale, as well as an Aizome workshop taught by the Aizome master Kenta Watanabe from “Watanabe’s” from October 30th to the 31st. This is definitely not to be missed for those looking to explore the tradition of Japanese indigo dyeing.

There will be a variety of original apparel products made with traditional Aizome methods such as T-shirts, hats, earrings, face masks, cloths, etc.
