If you're a fan of hit anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it's very unlikely you've been complaining about merchandise options, particularly if you're also a fan of the unique swords shown off in the series.
Bandai and their prop and replica brand "Proplica", which produces full-scale replications of iconic anime weaponry, have been treating Demon Slayer fans to faithful replicas of the Nichirin blades wielded by Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Rengoku.
Those who prefer the wild stylings of Inosuke Hashibira can now get in on the fun, with Proplica's first ever "dual wield" offering--a full scale replication of Inosuke's Nichirin blades that play his quotes and music from the Demon Slayer anime.
The 1/1 scale blade replicas play more than 100 Inosuke quotes as well as background tracks from the anime when toggling between two modes--Demon Slaying and Boar Rush. Crossing the blades and touching the hilts will activate some of these to recreate the feeling of Inosuke rushing into battle.
This is the first time Proplica has released a dual set of Nichirin blades, and paid careful attention to recreating the jagged edges and bandaged hilts of Inosuke's swords. The pair come with a special display stand and a list of quotes and track recordings.
The pair of replica swords are currently available from Premium Bandai for 16,500 yen in Japan. Fans overseas may want to check in with their international store.
