How do pets usually react when they realise it’s time to see the vet?

Pet owners know well how it usually goes down. Even if you don’t have an animal buddy at home, just looking at our articles you can see how some of Japan’s most expressive pets show their displeasure. We’ve seen trembling dogs, growling dogs, scaredy cats, and cats that look utterly betrayed.

But just as dogs come in all shapes and sizes, they also have wildly different personalities. This Shiba inu went viral recently for having a surprising reaction to her trip to the animal doctor. While some owners may have trouble dragging a struggling dog to the clinic, these owners may actually have the problem of being unable to wake their sleepy pet up for the visit.

Never mind the most peaceful pup at the vet’s, she’s probably one of the most serenely sleeping animals we’ve ever seen.

Apparently this Shiba actually loves going to see the animal doctor, and got so excited about the trip that she actually wore herself out. Hence the deep sleep.

This photo and video proves pretty solidly that not all animals hate the vet. In fact, some see the trip as the perfect opportunity to get some extra shut eye in.
