For many, LEGO really are the building blocks of creativity, with the truly dedicated able to out-craft the confines of their kits and build remarkable figures--including mechanized suits from the world of Mobile Suit Gundam. No matter how skilled a LEGO hobbyist is, however, it might seem to be too tall an order to use them to build something that replicates video game graphics.
Not for LEGO enthusiast FukuTaku (@FukuTaku10), though! The talented builder says there's nothing that can't be made out of LEGO blocks, and they've certainly been on their way to proving that with their masterful LEGO figures that recreate the aesthetic and nostalgic pixel charm of characters from the Square Enix classic RPG Dragon Quest.
For instance, take a look at FukuTaku's amazing LEGO sculpture of Dragon Quest III villain Zoma:

FukuTaku's painstakingly crafted Dragon Quest LEGO sculptures capture both the colorful aesthetic of Akira Toriyama's artwork and the blocks piece together the appeal of old-school video graphics.
Their latest crowd-pleasing LEGO sculpture once again turns to Dragon Quest antagonists, recreating The Dragonlord in blocks of bursting fiery color.

The Dragonlord looks impressive from every angle, and you can see how FukuTaku was able to nail every detail using existing claw parts, and capturing a bellow of flaming breath and curved wings fitting of the Dragon Quest boss.
You can almost hear the Dragon Quest soundtrack blaring in the background and sense movements in these pictures.
