Never underestimate the strength of a toddler.
That may have been what Akiyoshi Nagai (@rien0514) was thinking when he watched his 1-year-old son make his sumo wrestling debut.
As Chairman of Kashiwa City Sumo Federation, Nagai may have had some advice to impart to the ambitious toddler, but as most parents know, 1-year-olds don't tend to be very receptive to coaching.
Nonetheless, the young man seems to have acquitted himself quite well with a veteran sumo strike!
"At one year and four months old, making their sumo debut."
What a maneuver!
As you can see, Nagai orchestrated some fun for his young son, and a club of sumo wrestlers was more than happy to oblige, with the chosen opponent brilliantly selling for the child in a moment that will surely be a lasting memory for him.
Many were touched by the display and the child's reaction, leaving comments:
"I give the way he fell a full score!"
"What a wonderful "mini sumo"!"
"Today the world is at peace."
