Paperclip and jewelry holders modeled after cats on vacuums and caught mid-grooming
Nintendo fans are well acquainted with the inhaling powers of everyone's favorite pink puff protagonist, Kirby. Unfortunately, it appears that chinchillas are still unfamiliar with the danger presented by approaching the hero of Dream Land's vacuum mouth. Japanese Twitter user Nameko (@matsumurako) will attest to that. Nameko recently set up a Kirby-shaped bowl as a feed dish for their adorable chinchilla, and well, it looks like the poor critter found out first hand what its like to be swallowed whole by Kirby.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, if you were hoping to see Kirby mimic a chinchilla's powers) the bowl actually has no inhaling function and this is just and adorable coincidence of timing and chinchillian curiosity and appetite. For those wondering, Nameko is using a "Inhaling Kirby Salad Bowl", which is served at (and available for take home purchase) at Tokyo's Kirby Cafe. It usually looks a little something like this.
That said, we commend the chinchilla's bravery in getting that close to Kirby all for the sake of some food. Those looking to replicate the feeling of being inhaled by Kirby can do so with the personal Kirby bed head rest.
