One of Japan's favorite fall and winter dishes is oden. The hearty stew made from dashi and soy sauce broth often includes daikon radish, fishcakes, konjac, tofu, sausages, boiled eggs, and skewered meats. Whether you're picking up a bowl at a convenience store or late-night food stall, a piping hot serving of oden definitely hits the spot when colder weather rolls around in Japan.

It's not something you would think to associate with bathing, however. Then again, given the existence of KFC-scented bath bombs, maybe any bath fragrance is possible these days. But now Japan's Nor corporation is giving oden fans a chance to take a bath in the popular winter stew, releasing a lineup of scented bath balls that look like very realistic oden ingredients!

The series features popular oden ingredients such as eggs, daikon raddish, konjac, mochi kinchaku tofu pouches, and chikuwa fishcakes, and they look good enough to eat. Don't worry, you won't actually be stewing in a soy sauce and dashi scented. Each ingredient is in appearance only and is released from a larger bath bomb that is actually scented like the Japanese citrus, yuzu for a refreshing bath time.
