One of the coolest things about making popcorn is watching it pop, which is why many people opt for the campfire or frying pan when it comes to enjoying the movie-theater staple. One Japanese Twitter user, @p68qbhhurq9kxjc, however, took an even more outside-the-box by surprisingly popping a kernel of popcorn with a hair straightener, sending his female friend screaming in pleasant surprise.
