Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Academy Award-winning Studio Ghibli classic Spirited Away will be returning to the big screen in the U.S. this December. The fan-favorite Japanese film by Hayao Miyazaki will return for one day to cinemas across the nation via a partnership between Fathom Events and GKIDS. The celebration will include showings on Sunday, December 4 (English Dubbed) and Monday, December 5 (English Subtitles) only. Following screenings of the film, an exclusive animated short titled Ghiblies: Episode 2 will also be shown. The 25 minute short shows comedic vignettes and caricatures of Studio Ghibli staff as they go about their day.
