We often see just how stubborn shiba inu can be when it comes to getting what they want. We humans are merely slaves to their whims, like when they stop suddenly in the middle of the road when they're tired of walking, for example...

But sometimes they can be just as stubborn in their displays of love, as this dog owner found out.

Engrossed in a TV show, he'd rather pet the shibe later on when it's over. But this pup simply isn't having it.

After some very over dramatic flailing, the owner gives in eventually, and the dog gets the strokes he deserves in the end.

This cheeky pup is one of Japan's many viral shiba inu stars, a mame shiba called Mame Chiyo, and you can follow his every day antics on Instagram.
