As the super popular anime Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) enters its final story arc, there’s a few events for wannabe titan-slayers emerging on the horizon in Tokyo.

There’s a good old fashioned anime collaboration cafe featuring Attack on Titan themed menu items, and there’s also an exhibition going on at Roppongi Hills Mori Tower called Shingeki no Kyojin Exhibition Final.

The exhibition will include all kinds of original art, displays and recreations showcasing all the charms of the beloved series.

But most exciting (or most terrifying) could be the augmented reality experience that has been announced, which will take place on the open-air rooftop of Mori Tower.

While admiring the view, which faces towards Shibuya and Shinjuku, you’ll suddenly be confronted with a titan that appears in the cityscape and presumably tries to attack you.

If you’re interested in experiencing how it would feel to fear for your life in a titan-related incident, you don’t even need to go to the exhibition, you can try out the Attack on Titan AR just by paying the 500 yen entrance fee for the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower Sky Deck.

The experience will only be available for a limited time from 6th August to 8th Spetember, 11 am to 6 pm (it will close early on 10th August for another event, check the Roppongi Hills City View website for more information).

But rather than stare helplessly at an approaching titan, if you want to try 'fighting back', there's a Survey Corps training event ongoing at an adventure theme park not far from Tokyo until the end of August!
