Shiba inu are known for their cheeky antics online such as frolicking in flowers, lying on the ground in the middle of a walk, or just running their own sweet potato business in Hokkaido. These meme dogs are always up to something and their cheeky little faces just add to the charm.

But rather than the sassy expressions we often see on shiba inu dogs, this pupper has a permanently grumpy face.

Chester, the 12 year old shiba inu, is also known as ‘Grumpy Sheeb’ online, and he will glare at anything.

And don’t even get him started on hilarious dog costumes...

Of course, in reality, Chester's not really glaring. It’s just the way his eyes are positioned and his downward mouth that gives him what looks like a grumpy expression. He’s just as much of a sweet-natured, fun-loving shibe as any other!
