The first ever permanent Pokemon Cafe opened last year adjacent to the Pokemon Center DX in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. With a Pokemon interior, Pokemon inspired menu and even occasional visits from the iconic yellow electric mouse himself, no fan of the classic series was left wanting. But in order to tempt us all back again and again, the menu gets a seasonal reboot every so often, bringing more awesome Pocket Monster themed treats for wannabe Pokemon trainers to enjoy.

The autumn menu has just been announced and it includes dishes perfect for the spookiest time of the year.

The menu’s usual Pikachu Plate item has been dressed up in seasonally appropriate headwear. The omelette Pikachu is wearing a witch’s hat and is accompanied by an autumnal pumpkin salad in the ‘Pikachu Halloween Greedy Plate’.

Zorua’s red and black colouring is intrinsically spooky and the Pokemon Cafe have used that to their advantage to make the ‘Zorua Halloween Roast Beef Burger’.

The healthy option, Celebi’s Ilex Forest Genovese Pasta doesn’t have many Halloween motifs, but there are some Pikachu faces and pumpkins adorning the salad.

Every drink order comes with a random clear Pokemon design coaster and these new designs will be available from 7th September.

There's also a limited time only Halloween design lunch mat and clear coaster and all visitors to the cafe will receive one of each until stocks run out.
