Kids grow up so quickly. They are pudgy little munchkins laughing at rustling curtains one day, and, before you know it, they are heading off to college or starting their first job. How the time flies.

Naturally, parents have a desire to make their childhood worth remembering—for their child’s sake, of course, but also for their own. Although parenting is stressful, those happy moments make for a fulfilling life. And something to look back upon during one’s twilight year.

Illustrator Nemuri Ahiru (@sleepingahiru) recently published a manga speaking to this very point. In her piece, she tells the story of a very cute and adorable moment her husband experienced with their young daughter. You’ll have to read it for yourself.
