You only have to take one look at Kappa's (@kappa_photo) photo gallery to learn that the talented photographer is snapping gorgeous shots all around Japan. Mistakes happen, however, and Kappa recently shared one he made on Twitter.
Fortunately, Kappa's mistake turned out to be an accidentally perfectly timed shot. Kappa posted the below image explaining that he accidentally knocked over his tripod. The result is an eerie but wonderful photo that has people comparing it to an apocalyptic Impact in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Of course, it's not actually a cataclysmic event, but a nighttime photoshoot of Kamine Park in Hitachi City, Ibaraki prefecture--which actually looks quite charming when the tripod isn't knocked over!
