Many of talented Japanese clay artist and YouTuber Nendozaiker SNAIL (@nendo_snail)'s amazing works take inspiration from popular video game characters, as seen with this Pokémon noodle assistant--an Inteleon figure that holds down the lid of your Cup Noodle while your ramen cooks!
Nendozaiker SNAIL is one against fusing food and popular characters, this time perhaps setting the bar for themselves with an adorable and creative combination of sushi and the world of Nintendo with Super Mario Bros sushi!

Nintendo fans will recognize that the clay artist has cleverly transformed classic Super Mario characters and imagery such as Toad, Goombas, Bullet Bill, Bloopers, Question Blocks, and Mario himself into expertly crafted clay sushi. There's even a Super Star expressed ginger to refresh your pallete!
Nendozaiker SNAIL details the creation process, as well as the goods he used (many from a 100 yen store) in the below "making of" video of their Mario Sushi Polymer Clay miniatures.
