If you're living in the Tokyo area and looking for a way to enjoy a bit of an upscale Spring treat but want to avoid the crowds, the Strings Hotel Omotesando has an option you may want to consider:
From March 3rd to April 25th, their "Strings Takeout Afternoon Tea: Sakura and Strawberry" set will be available to pick up and take home.

The original take-out box, which can be displayed on the table as a three-tiered afternoon tea stand, includes a tart with strawberries on top of cherry blossom cream, fromage blanc with strawberries in cherry blossom jelly, and tiramisu with strawberries and cherry blossom mascarpone cream layered on a sponge soaked in strawberry syrup. In addition to tiramisu with a layer of mascarpone cream, Japanese sweets such as strawberry daifuku and photogenic dango dumplings are also attractively arranged, so you can enjoy afternoon tea in a hanami cherry blossom viewing mood.

In addition to the sweets, the afternoon tea set also includes sliders made with Daisen chicken and nanohana canola blossoms on cherry blossom-flavored buns, sakura shrimp and spring cabbage quiche, and momokabu red turnip mousse.
Moreover, two types of tea from TWG, a luxury tea brand from Singapore, will also be included.
