Donguri Kyowakoku, a Studio Ghibli merchandise store in Japan, deal in the cutest creations which are inspired by the animation studio’s massive range of beloved characters and motifs. For every season and ocassion, they recommend the perfect presents for Studio Ghibli super fans and even sometimes release special items just for the occasion.
For Mother’s Day they’ve even started running a special delivery service of flower gifts. Not only will these sets make lovely presents, but they are actually incredibly convenient since they will be delivered directly to the recipient’s door (as long as it's in Japan), and it even comes with a matching card.
There’s two new designs to choose from, as well as one which has been seen before. The new flower pot designs look like adorable mugs, and there’s one inspired by My Neighbour Totoro with super cute acorn details.
There’s also one featuring Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service in bright spring colours. Both of these come with pretty carnations.
The full cost of each one, including flowers and delivery fee, is 6,490 yen.
The returning flower pot is the Totoro swing design and it’s filled with a type of flower called a ‘magical chuchu’. This one is a bit pricier at 8,360 yen.
The goods can be ordered in store (list of branches) or on Donguri Republic's online shop and sent directly to the intended recipient some time between 5th and 9th May.
