Stay cool this summer with this citrus infused menu from GODIVA café Tokyo

Chocolate guru’s Godiva opened their first permanent cafe in Japan, ‘GODIVA café Tokyo’

, only last November, but already they are diving in at the deep end and bringing us a special menu made to keep us refreshed this summer.
Get ready to salivate over these orange infused drinks and sweets from the cafe which, available for both eat-in and take-out, are the perfect accompaniment for the hot summer days to come.

As uncomfortable as tsuyu (the rainy season) is, we all know that it will be quickly over, and give way to the unforgiving heat and humidity of summer. In anticipation of the oncoming heatwave, the new menu from GODIVA café Tokyo is already available.

This year, the cafe has released a cacao drink featuring the sweet and sour taste of citrusy orange goodness. Additionally, a range of new sweets, cream puffs and trifle cakes will be added to the cafe’s grand menu lineup.

GODIVA Cacao Orange

Price: 720 yen (tax included)

Topped with plenty of whipped cream, chocolate sauce, honey and orange peel, this orange infused cacao drink will make you crave for more.

GODIVA Cacao Ginger Soda

Price: 680 yen (tax included)

The perfect addition to any hot summer day, this fancy concoction mixes together spicy ginger flavour, lime and chocolate soda (yes, you read that correctly – chocolate soda).

Of course, any chocolate orangey drink wouldn’t be complete without a snack to go alongside it, so GODIVA café Tokyo has prepared a range of summery treats to keep your sweet tooth satisfied.

Espresso fruit Cream Puff – 480 yen
Looking for something to give you a little boost when your energy levels are dipping? Look no further than this espresso flavoured cream puff.

Filled to the brim with cacao fruit flavoured cream cheese and tangerine pulp, this sweet but slightly sour treat will make your mouth water.

Chocolat Orange Cream Puff – 480 yen
The bitter taste of orange peel and dark chocolate work in harmony alongside the smooth and refreshing flavour of orange custard cream in this summer special.
