Positioning itself as the "Only One and Ultimate yakiniku restaurant," X (TEN) in Tokyo's swank Nishiazabu neighborhood prides itself on providing the highest quality level of food and service. According to the press release, you can enjoy some of the best wagyu in Japan cooked to perfection.
The four private rooms can be used for a variety of purposes, including dates and dinners. Each room has a dedicated grill master, and they use their original roaster and griddle to ensure that each part of the meat is cooked to the perfect degree. Naturally, they also offer wine pairings to go with their courses.
From Monday, November 1st, and for a limited time only, diners can enjoy a special yakiniku course featuring white truffles. The exceptional aroma of the finest Piedmont white truffles enhances the taste of the finest wagyu beef, creating a special course with an "unprecedentedly luxurious taste."
White truffle course highlights
The "Premium Yakiniku and White Truffle Course" features Tajimaguro 但馬玄 brand Tajima beef 但馬牛, a perfectly-balanced wagyu produced in only very limited quantities from the Ueda Ranch in Hyogo Prefecture. TEN is the only yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo where you can enjoy it.
Tajimaguro Yukke with White Truffle
The delicious yukke (yukhoe - Korean beef tartare) at TEN is their signature dish, but for this special course, it gets even better with a generous topping of Piedmont white truffle slices.
Tajimaguro Variety Meat Chowder with White Truffle
This creamy chowder rich with the flavor of selected melt-in-your-mouth Tajimaguro beef horumon (variety meats) is further enhanced with the aroma of white truffles.
Matsusaka Beef Sirloin Sukiyaki with White Truffle
A dish of Matsusaka beef sirloin arranged in sukiyaki style. Lightly simmered slices of world-famous Matsusaka beef are coated with TEN's secret recipe warishita (sukiyaki sauce), egg yolk, and Piedmont white truffle shavings. You can enjoy it over freshly-steamed rice .
Beef Bone Broth and White Truffle Risotto
In typical Japanese dining style, your meal is completed with rice. At TEN, you'll enjoy a special risotto flavored by a broth made with the best beef bones imaginable. Garnished with a slow-cooked custard-like onsen egg, this risotto is luxuriously topped with white truffle slices for a gorgeous appearance.
