Details released on Japanese actress Rio Teramoto’s 2022 Calendar

Although the name Rio Teramoto 寺本莉緒 may be familiar to those who follow Japanese swimsuit models, as of Spring 2021, the aspiring actress seems to have chosen to deprioritize that aspect of her career and focus more centrally on her acting.

Her calendar for 2022 reflects this change, showing off Teramoto's expressive range. In a press release today, her agency, Les Pros Production, released the cover images as well as previously unpublished photos from the calendar.

The photos were taken at a house studio in Tokyo in late September this year, and feature different settings both indoors and outdoors (rooftop), and showing Teramoto in various outfits, including a yukata.

At the Rio Teramoto Online Store, you can pre-order special sets and calendar sets that come with a variety of extras such as autographed photos, a collection of candid shots, and tickets to participate in an online live stream by the actress. The special offers are available for pre-order until November 12, 2021, 23:59 (JST).

About Rio Teramoto

Rio Teramoto 寺本莉緒 was born on November 5th, 2001, in Hiroshima Prefecture.

At 16, she made her musical debut in the role of fourth eldest daughter Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof and in 2019, she played the leading role in the nutritional education-themed play 『明日、君を食べるよ』 ashita kimi wo taberu yo (I'll eat you tomorrow).

Teramoto has recently appeared in a series of TV dramas. For example, she played Bianca in 『ガールガンレディ』 (Girl Gun Lady) which aired on MBS/TBS from April 6th to June 6th, 2021 and Rio Ichinose in『女の戦争〜バチェラー殺人事件〜』 onna no sensō bacherā satsujin jiken (Women's War: Bachelor Murder Case) which aired on TV Tokyo from July 3rd to August 7th.

In addition to expanding her activities as an actress, she also hosts her own weekly radio show 『寺本莉緒のぶちカワRadio』 teramoto rio no buchikawa radio (Rio Teramoto's super cute radio show) which is broadcast on Bunka Hoso at 23:30 on Mondays.

She is a fan of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp baseball team and loves to eat ramen.
