When it comes to seasonal doughnuts, the doughnut experts at Krispy Kreme Japan always have something festive lined up. From spring doughnuts inspired by cherry blossom, to creepy ‘blood’-filled treats for Halloween, their creations are one sweet way to get into the spirit of things.
The Holiday season is coming up fast and their Christmas offerings this year include some old favourites and a new cute character.
Their Santa doughnut appears every year, and this time around he’s a ‘White Strawberry Santa’ filled with a strawberry chocolate flavour filling.
The ‘Milk Tea White Bear’ is a brand new creation, and he has a milk tea chocolate coating and a milk cream filling.
While the other doughnuts only appear until Christmas Day, the ‘Chocolate Snowman’ sticks around for the whole winter season. His white chocolate coating makes perfect snow and his filling is chocolate cream.
Apart from the ever-popular Christmas characters, there’s also some ring doughnuts with festive colours. There’s the ‘White Choco Cream Holiday Wreath’ with freeze dried strawberries and pistachios to create the appropriate colour scheme.
Lastly the ‘Holiday Choco Sprinkle’ completes the collection with white, green and red sprinkles.
These doughnuts are available individually, but also in boxes of various sizes depending on your holiday plans!
The boxes themselves are also pretty festive with a wintry design.
The lineup will be released on 24th November 2021 at branches of Krispy Kreme in Japan.
