In addition to their new “drinkable soft serve ice cream”, Japanese convenience store Mini Stop has unveiled a fall lineup of sweets called the Guru Kuru series. The name comes from a mashup of the Japanese and French terms for mixing up and drinking up. So combine the two meanings together and as its name suggests, the series offers variations of their popular soft serve ice cream that you stir to mix and drink.
These items are currently available at Mini Stop locations throughout Japan.
Guru Kuru Drinkable Café Mocha Jelly (with Belgian chocolate flavored mixed soft serve ice cream) and Nostalgic Coffee Jelly (with Vanilla soft serve ice cream)
Once you enjoy the aesthetic of the sweet combination of coffee-flavored jelly and vanilla soft serve, it’s time to stir it up! Mini Stop recommends stirring approximately 30 times for the best result.
They are also bringing back their popular Annou sweet potato flavor from 5 years ago. The Japanese style soft-serve ice cream dessert uses Mont Blanc topping sauce, made from the exceptionally sweet sweet potato, Annou Imo. It is sweet and its moist texture matches perfectly with vanilla soft-serve ice cream.
