But this popular Twitter post stars a Shiba inu called Haru, who has her own eccentric way of saying she wants to stay out in the snow. She’s from Hokkaido so she must be quite used to snowy weather, and she particularly loves going out for walks.

While out on a walk, her owner suddenly felt a jolt as Haru had stopped dead in her tracks while on the lead, and refused to move.

When they got closer to where she was, they realised she had firmly stuck her muzzle in the snow. This stubborn action sent the clear message, she didn’t want to go home but had decided to play in the snow for longer.

The post made a big impact among shibe lovers, gaining over 149 thousand likes on Twitter.
