hololive Vtuber Luna Himemori collaborates with Yamaha’s Electone electric organ

Luna’s love for the Electone

As some of our readers may know, hololive VTubers perform various fun activities on their stream such as playing games, chatting, singing, drawing, and more. However, did you know that Luna Himemori 姫森ルーナ, the cute princess who debuted with the 4th generation, plays the Electone on her streams on a regular basis?

The Electone is an electronic organ created and trademarked by Yamaha Corporation, a major Japanese music instrument manufacturer with over 125 years of history.

Luna Himemori loves playing both the piano and the Electone. Until her stream on June 26th, 2021, she only streamed herself playing the piano regularly. However, during her stream on that day, she announced that she had purchased an Electone, and that she would also do regular Electone streams. You can see that a cute Electone had been added to her room on her streams after the end of November.

She also showcased her excellent Electone-playing skills during her birthday live concert.

The collaboration is officially made up of three parts.

Part 1: Giveaway

If you’re interested in Electone and you live in Japan, you can go to designated Yamaha stores between March 23rd and June 30th to try it.

They are giving out an original printed plastic folder to customers who try the Electone at the designated stores on the list. The illustration is a special one that was drawn specifically for this collaboration campaign by the multi-talented creator, Hiro Kanzaki かんざきひろ. Of course, Luna is always cute, but she especially looks great with her Electone!

The giveaway is one folder per customer and only while supplies last.

Part 2: Special interview with Luna Himemori

Luna Himemori also gave an special interview where she described her relationship with the Electone. In the interview, Luna talked about her Electone model, the reason why she chose it, her motivation for continuing to stream herself playing the Electone, and more. The interview is officially translated into English!

Part 3: Original musical score for a popular hololive song

The third part of the collaboration is a musical score! The musical score for one of hololive’s famous songs, “Shiny Smily Story” was included in the April 2022 issue of Gekkan Electone 月間エレクトーン. The score is arranged for intermediate players.
