Most pets know when they’re not supposed to do something. But that doesn’t stop them doing it anyway. In fact, it often just makes them determined to not get caught, using whatever strategy they can come up with.
One Japanese cat owner shared their pet’s hilarious way of stealing ice cream, because it seems just too silly to be true.
When attempting to snatch a bit of his owner’s treat for himself, this cat, called Iwashi, closes his eyes, seemingly believing that if he can’t see, then no one else can either.
The photo shows him slowly stretching out his paw towards the cup of ice cream, with his eyes tightly shut.

If you think he’s just closing his eyes or blinking, the owner has provided proof that this is not the only occasion. Here he is using the same funny method to try to swipe some sashimi.

Of course, it’s easy to see how a cat might come to this conclusion, as in his world when he shuts his eyes the world goes dark. But little does he know that we can all see his antics, clear as day!
