This year marks 25 years since the release of Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke. This beloved film has devoted fans all around the world, who will be excited to know that Japan’s official Studio Ghibli retailer Donguri Kyowakoku have been unveiling plenty of awesome merchandise to celebrate.

So far, this includes a Yakul plushie and some stylish watch designs. But this latest release is one for super fans since it is being released in a very limited quantity and will set you back 39,600 yen (about 290 dollars).

A cool thing about Donguri Kyowakoku is that they sometimes release replicas of items from Studio Ghibli movies so fans can own them for themselves. For Princess Mononoke’s anniversary they’ve revealed a real life version of the red wooden bowl that Ashitaka eats out of while sitting and talking with Jigo at the destroyed village.

To bring the bowl to life, they’ve used a lacquerware technique that originated in the Yamanaka Onsen district of Ishikawa.

It also comes in a special presentation box.

It may be hard to get a hold of this anniversary item since only 100 are being released, but if you want to check it out, it’s only being sold on Donguri Kyowakoku’s online store.
