Pre-sale of Tokyo Revengers goods to begin in September 2021
Cake.jp Co., Ltd. is an online Japanese confectionary store. Their company's stated mission is to “Warm your heart up with our sweets.” As the phrase indicates, their cakes always have fun concepts. They have released countless collaboration cakes with popular anime, Vtubers, and even TV talents. For example, some of their currently ongoing collaborations include ONE PIECE, Evangelion, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Teasing Master Takagi-san, and Hololive!
This time, they have released a very unique and surprising cake as a collaboration cake with 東京リベンジャーズ Tokyo Revengers!
Actually, this isn’t the first time they have done a collaboration with Tokyo Revengers. They have already released macarons, cookies, cupcakes, and birthday cakes (Mikey version and Doraken version). They even sell Mikey’s dorayaki, a Japanese sweet like a small pancake stuffed with red bean paste, because it's his favorite Japanese snack.
However, their new product will be beyond your expectations. Let’s find out what it is!
Is this really fried noodles or a cake?
The new cake is the TV anime Tokyo Revengers Yakisoba Cake with a limited novelty item. (TVアニメ『東京リベンジャーズ』やきそばけーき【限定ノベルティ付】| terebi anime tōkyō ribenjāzu yakisoba kēki [gentei noberuti tsuki])
Yakisoba is fried noodles and one of Japan’s most popular foods. In episode 22 of the Tokyo Revengers TV anime, yakisoba becomes an important food to Baji Keisuke and Matsuno Chifuyu because of its significance during their first meeting. It is also Baji’s favorite food.

On the other hand, the yakisoba cake looks like this!
They really look alike!
I’m really curious about the taste. Real yakisoba is salty, of course, but how about the cake? According to the official website, the bottom is custard-flavored Bavarian cream.
The noodles are actually mascarpone-flavored cream and the sauce is coffee-flavored syrup. So, the taste is similar to tiramisu although the appearance is totally yakisoba!
Special novelty item
Now, do you want to try it? If you purchase this unique cake, you will get a pin-back button with an attached key chain. You can’t choose which character you’ll get, but there are designs featuring Mikey, Doraken, Chifuyu Matsuno, Takashi Mitsuya, Keisuke Baji, Kazutora Hanemiya, and Takemichi Hanagaki.
Get the yakisoba cake inspired by Tokyo Revengers and the cool limited item from their official shopping website!
