World renowned Japanese pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto has announced a live-viewing of his solo piano concert “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Playing the Piano 2022” on December 11th, 2022 at 109 Cinemas Grandberry Park’s premium sound theater “SAION”.
It’s been 2 years since Sakamoto’s last no-audience solo piano concert held in December 2020. For this time's performance, Sakamoto will be recording a performance a day at the NHK studio center 509. The actual event at “SAION” is a live-viewing with two showtimes at 12:00 pm and 18:00 pm start, and is the only live-viewing location. Each showtime has 214 seats.
The tickets for the viewing will be available from 18:00 pm on December 25th, Japan time.Regular seats for 4,500 yen and executive seats for 5,200 yen are available here, and more information about the performance can be seen at the event website.
