Twitter user inubot (@inu_10kg) lives quite deep in the Japanese countryside. While that means having to set up enclosures and fencing so wild boar don't come wandering into her yard, it does provide some beautiful backdrops for her to post her daily adventures with her beloved shina ibu--which her account has become quite popular for!
While just about any of her shiba pictures and videos are enough to make your day, it's one episode she's shared in particular that has made dog lovers swoon. One day, while visiting a field on a private plot of land her family owns to pick up some belongings, inubot left her happy-go-lucky shiba at home with her mother for a bit. While inubot says the shiba often likes to cuddle up with her mother and sometimes be left alone, apparently this time the doggo began to worry frantically about their missing owner and panicked.
Despite reassurance from inbuot's mother that she would return shortly, the shiba inu wasn't having it, and took off in search of their favorite human.
Sniffing out inubot's location, the shiba inu took off running up a hill to be reunited with her, and this is the adorably epic sight that greeted inubot when she looked down the hill:

Determined to find her owner inubot, the shiba inu came barreling up the hill with boundless joy. inubot says she was surprised to hear that the dog was acting like this, but quickly embraced the shiba with a hug and many pets as if they were reunited after long last. You can really feel the love the shiba has for inubot in each picture as they get closer and closer!
For more of inubot's adventures with her trusty shiba, she's published a photo album that includes much of the pictures and episodes she's shared on Twitter, which is available at bookstores throughout Japan, as well as online retailers like Amazon.
