There's very few things are heartwarming as a bond between a dog and their favorite person. inubot (@inu_10kg) gets to see that special bond a lot. Living deep in the Japanese countryside with her beloved shiba inu, she's gained quite a following on Twitter where she shares the daily adventures of her and her dog. One constant in those adventures is how totally attached the shiba inu is to inubot and her mother--sometimes going to dramatically adorable lengths to reunite with them when they step outside for just a moment.

Recently, inubot's mother had to make a brief stay in the hospital. Although he reassured the shiba she'd be back home in a few days, the dog spent several nights motionless and staring at the door, loyally awaiting her return.

inubot photographed the moment her mother came home after being released from the hospital, and the touching scene is just too pure for words!

The look of excitement and relief on inubot's shiba inu's face has dog lovers all over Twitter nearly bawling, as you can really tell how much the patient shiba really cares for inubot's mother. Apparently the dog didn't run up excitedly on its own, but quietly waited for the mother to approach before bursting with joy.
