It may sound strange at first, but a commercial for a barbecue restaurant in Thailand is a truly moving reminder of what we should all reflect upon during Mother's Day.
In Thailand, Mother's Day is on August 12th, but chain restaurant "Bar B Q Plaza" has created a commercial with a meaning that surely resonates all over the world: Even though our days may be hectic and busy, we need to make time to be with our mothers, and cherish the valuable memories that come from that.
The set-up of the commercial is simple. Bar B Q Plaza gives a questionnaire to its hard-working employees, which starts out by asking employees how often they work, and if they still live with their mother.

However, the commercial slowly begins to tug at your heartstrings as the questionnaire probes deeper into the employees and asks them to reflect on their relationship with their mother, asking questions such as:

Memories of their mothers and obvious regrets about not being able to spend more time with them brings the employees to tears, but the peak of the commercial comes after the company allows the workers a chance to write down their feelings for their mothers, and an opportunity to have an early Mother's Day meal with them as well. Watch, and try not to experience that same flow of emotion:

Given the opportunity to share a sincere moment of happiness with their mothers, the employees hand over the messages they wanted to give to them: "I want to hug you. I want to say I'm sorry. I want to be a good person."
We can't all go eat at a BBQ joint in Thailand with our mom, but the sentiment remains the same: Take some time out of your schedule to spend with your loved ones when you get a chance. It'll provide wonderful memories for everyone involved, and we all need more of those.
