Well, a photographer in Bangkok, Thailand, may be playfully shedding some light on the answer.
Poking fun at Instagram antics isn't a completely new trend, but Chompoo Baritone is taking a few shots at these...well, shots that we see often on Instagram. Of course, there is absolutely nothing wrong with framing, cropping, and re-sizing--these are longstanding staples of photography.
