Don’t you just hate it when you get back from the hair salon and discover that the right and left sides are slightly uneven?
Luckily for us, Madrid-based hairstylist Alberto Olmedo claims to have found the solution to that problem.
Calling it the “mathematical way” of cutting hair, Olmedo brings out his two huge samurai swords and a mini blowtorch to give his customers new hairdos. He even has a set of “scissor claws” which he fits onto his fingers.
Because of this approach to cutting hair, Olmedo has been dubbed the “real-life Edward Scissorhands.”
He’s confident in his ways, but we’d be uncomfortable to say the least to have a flaming blow torch set at 1,300 degrees celsius (2,372 degrees fahrenheit) and waving swords aimed at our heads.
“Sometimes you have to use a bit of your imagination to get positive results,” Olmedo says. We totally agree, but when it comes to getting haircuts, a lot of us might prefer to have a more soothing experience. But hey, to each his own.
