Meet Kirara, a 9-month old cat owned by Twitter user@kirara_santa_.

Unsurprisingly, Kirara loves to eat; he loves food so much he's gained a bit of weight. But why would Kirara care? He has his eyes set on a grilled fish on the table.

So he reaches out to grab it... But watch what happens next:

The way Kirara doesn't give up is really adorable! The way he reacts to the owner's hand is also cute. I can play this video over and over again.

And in the end, Kirara's paws are totally caught by the owner. Mission failed lol

Perhaps Kirara was more interested in having a little game with his owner more than actually grabbing hold of that fish.
