It’s only natural to want to preserve the masterpieces of their own budding Picassos in any way possible, and one Japanese mother — known as Konel Bread on SNS — has figured out an incredibly creative way to do so.

A Tokyo-based baker in addition to being a mother, she takes inspiration from her son’s drawings to make edible works of art that are as heartwarming as they are beautiful. Fortunately for us, she shares pictures and videos of her baked creations on Instagram and Facebook, where we can see her most recent collaborative masterpieces.

She doesn't reveal exactly how she makes her gorgeous breads, but she makes it a point to note that they’re flavored and colored with natural ingredients like spinach, cocoa, and beetroot. It’s a fun and healthy mother-and-son project that we’re frankly pretty jealous of, and we can’t wait to see what new artistic bread ideas they come up with next!
