As if matcha puddings weren’t enough to get us excited for Starbucks Japan’s limited time springtime products, the popular coffee chain has unveiled two more mouthwatering items to try along with the green tea-flavored dessert. With drinks taking American cherries and classic teas and turning them into rich frappuccinos, deciding what to get from the menu is going to be harder than ever before.

American Cherry Pie Frappuccino

If there’s one drink we’re excited for, it’s the soon-to-be-released American Cherry Pie Frappuccino. With this new item on the menu, Starbucks Japan wants customers to imagine themselves sitting at an American diner with a plate of cherry pie sitting in front of them. In the same way pie-lovers will dive into their slice with a fork, this new drink lets customers have a similar sensation as they poke a straw through the dome-shaped pie crust lid covering the delicious contents of the frappuccino.

Inside is a mesmerizing vanilla-based drink layered with American cherry compote at the top and bottom. It’s topped with whipped cream and added bits of pie crust, and the creaminess of the ingredients pair superbly well with the sweet, tart, juicy cherries. This special drink will only be available for a month from April 13th to May 16th.

Classic Tea Cream Frappuccino

But if fruity isn’t the way to go, Starbucks will also have a new Classic Tea Cream Frappuccino in stores from April 13th to August 8th. An elegant blend of Earl Grey, Ceylon, and Malawi tea, this milk tea drink is made by steeping loose tea leaves directly into the milk. To give it a touch of sweetness, it is topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream, honey milk sugar made from honey and condensed milk, and drizzled with honey.

Both frappuccinos will be making their way to Starbucks locations in Japan from April 13th. The American Cherry Pie Frappuccino will be sold for 630 yen (US$5.70) while the Classic Tea Cream Frappuccino can be enjoyed for 570 yen (US$5.16). Head over next week to get a sip of these glorious new beverages!
