Given that the Star Wars franchise takes some inspiration from multiple aspects of early Japan, it should be no surprise that we've seen some amazing artistic collaborations between the immensely popular sci-fi epic and art of samurai lore and traditional Japan. Recently, however, we've seen fans apply a more modern anime aesthetic to their Star Wars illustrations for some truly impressive creations. Now Japanese Twitter user and fan artist @nohofrog has added to those with these illustrations that capture moments throughout the Star Wars universe with a charming anime style.
The artwork makes use of characters from the Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, and even the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
