Opening December 20th near Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine is Momiji Chaya, a Japanese modern tea house specializing in delectable matcha sweets.

Momiji Chaya will be located along the famous Komachi-dori Street which runs from Kamakura Station toward Tsurugaoka Hachimangū. Visitors looking for a sweet respite will find a traditional Japanese dessert menu that includes matcha drinks, matcha dorayaki (red bean pancake), and shiratama zenzai (sweet azuki bean soup with dumplings).
