Just because animation isn't "real life" doesn't mean animated movies are less poignant and emotionally stirring. With sincere storylines and super realistic motion graphics, many animated classics have left us bawling, breaking our fragile little hearts to the point where it's sometimes hard to sleep at the end of the night.
In an attempt to find out which animated movie is the saddest, Japanese movie fans recently voted for the top 10 tear-jerkers of all time through a survey taken by goo. The ranking includes both foreign animation and Japanese anime. Unsurprisingly, the massive global hit movie “Your Name” found a place on the list.
