During times when we're deprived of sleep the most, finding that one opportunity to sneak in some extra z's — whether on the bus ride to work or even while waiting for a pot of pasta to cook — can be the difference between a miserable day and a bearable one. Now, for a brief period in Japan's urban fashion district of Harajuku, groggy Tokyoites can snuggle into a warm soft bed right in the middle of the city whenever they feel like recharging.

Serving quality naps with their coffee, Nescafé Harajuku has transformed into the Sleep Cafe, a limited time cafe offering customers the usual cafe service along with luxurious beds to sleep on. Guests can take naps for up to 2 hours on one of the cafe's 10 beds, all of which are adjustable and made by Japanese bed and mattress maker France Bed. Combined with relaxing music and special lighting, it's almost guaranteed that customers will get the best sleep they've had in a long time.

This glorious cafe was created in celebration of World Sleep Day which comes every year on the Friday before the March Equinox. But coffee and sleep don't usually go hand-in-hand, which is why Nescafé Harajuku is offering decaffeinated and caffeinated coffee to enjoy before and after naps for free.

Of course, it's not obligatory for customers to sleep while in bed, and those simply wanting a comfortable place to rest can read a book, watch a movie, or just space out for a few hours. Anyone can try out this limited time service as long as they order over 1 item from the cafe's food menu.

True to their word, the cafe really looks to be welcoming their customers with fluffy white beds.
