Fans of the popular anime and manga series Fullmetal Alchemist have been waiting for a more fully fleshed out trailer ever since the first teaser dropped for the live-action adaptation, and perhaps now with the newly released second one they might be able to form a fuller opinion. While the first trailer gave us some sweeping shots of scenery reminiscent of the series' European architecture and countryside, along with protagonist Ed Elric (Ryosuke Yamada of of Hey! Say! JUMP fame) battling some CG beast, this second trailer features some dialogue along with a better look at the two brothers and their alchemy skills.

Here's a little translation of the text/dialogue in the trailer. Sorry if we mixed up which of the kids were talking in the beginning--you get the point!

Al: But we're not supposed to use alchemy to make a person, right?

Ed: But don't you want to see mom again?

Al: ...I do...

Ed: Then it's settled!

Text: Forbidden alchemy stole the arms and legs of the older brother, and the entire body of the younger.

Text: To take back everything---the adventure of two brothers begins.

Text: Fullmetal Alchemist

The film is set for release on December 1st, 2017 in Japan.
