New Tokyo Taxi Service Offers Free Rides And Free Noodles [Hands-On Report]
Cold Stone is the place to go for extravagantly scrumptious ice cream served in waffle bowls, but the ice cream chain is now serving busy Tokyoites on the go from their first-ever takeout store Cold Stone Express.
Open from April 27th on the first floor of Shinjuku Alta, Cold Stone Express isn't just your ordinary Cold Stone Creamery serving their usual menu items in portable vessels. While of course offering their original Sweet Cream Ice Cream in waffle ice cream cones, they have also added a variety of waffles on sticks that allow customers to choose between sweet or savory.

Sweet waffles include the Plain Waffle, Strawberry Shortcake Tiara Waffle, and the Belgium Chocolate Banana Waffle. Customers looking to skip the sugar can also get items like the Grilled Vegetable and Tomato Margherita Waffle, Gapao Waffle, and the Shrimp and Mushroom Au Gratin Waffle served on ice cream sticks. There's a lot more to enjoy on the menu, so be sure to make a quick stop at the Cold Stone Express when you're out and about in the Tokyo area!
